scottishscreamqueenIt's my 43rd birthday today, which seems like a suitable day for the first birthday of my new journal.
I don't really know why I have a new journal. I have no regrets about deleting the old ones — I can't imagine ever wanting to revisit them. They mostly document other lifetimes that seem vaguely alien to me now. The past is another country, and it's one that I've spent enough time in and won't be going back to. My visa for those shores is permanently expired.
But, these past few days I've felt absolutely obsessed with the idea of posting journal entries. The words go round and round my head and I want to share them. As I settle into what I guess I'm calling Arwen 3.0, I miss this outlet and I miss the people I shared my life with here.
So hi. Again. I don't know where this is going, but let's find out, I guess?
